Compilation of vital statistics (births, deaths and marriages) using data collected from General Registrar's Office. Annual birth, death and marriage rates are computed.
	Compilation of health statistics using data from the Ministry of Health. These include immunization, chronic illness, reproduction, nutrition and child survival and development.
	Compilation of education statistics using data from the Ministry of Education's Education Digest.
	Compilation of migration statistics using data entered from passengers' Embarkation / Disembarkation (E/D) cards - made available to the Bureau by the immigration department.
	Generation of Population and other demographic data.
	Compilation of labour force statistics and calculation of employment rates using data from household surveys undertaken by BOS periodically.
